Detailed 3-Day Safari Itinerary
Day 1 – Nairobi → Great Rift Valley → Lake Bogoria
Your 3-day Rift Valley adventure begins with an early morning departure from Nairobi. Meet your professional safari driver-guide at approximately 07:30 AM and begin the journey towards the Great Rift Valley.
- Pick-up from your Nairobi hotel, residence or agreed meeting point.

- Continue north towards Lake Bogoria National Reserve.

Day 2 – Lake Bogoria → Lake Baringo → Lake Nakuru National Park

- Early breakfast at the lodge followed by check-out.
- Depart Lake Nakuru and drive towards Hell’s Gate National Park.

Important Information About Lake Bogoria & Lake Baringo
The water levels of several Kenyan Rift Valley lakes have changed considerably in recent years. Lake Baringo and Lake Bogoria have both experienced expansion and flooding that has affected shorelines, access roads and some tourism infrastructure.
Lake Baringo has experienced particularly significant shoreline changes, including impacts on some lakeside properties and traditional boat-access areas. For this reason, the first overnight stay is arranged in the Lake Bogoria area rather than at a Lake Baringo shoreline lodge.
The Lake Baringo visit and any boat excursion are therefore subject to current water levels, weather, safe road access and local operating conditions. Your safari driver-guide may modify this part of the itinerary when necessary for safety or accessibility.
Wildlife, bird and flamingo sightings are also natural experiences and cannot be guaranteed. Flamingo numbers around the Rift Valley lakes can change according to water conditions, food availability and seasonal movements.
