Reviewed April 21, 2011 We are a family of four(inc 2 daughters aged 8 and 12) who in December 2010 went on safari with Cruzeiro safaris.
From the moment we approached Claudia we felt we were in excellent hands and this proved to be very much the case.
Claudia put together a fantastic schedule staying at Lake Nakuru for one night then onto Masai Mara for a further two nights.
Our trip to Kenya didn't start quite as planned when our luggage failed to turn up at the airport.However,Claudia did a great job of not only locating our missing cases whilst we were on safari but also sending someone to the airport to collect them for us for which we were extremely grateful.
The trip itself was just amazing.Our driver Nick was such a lovely person who went out of his way to ensure we had a wonderful time.His experience and knowledge ensured we saw more animals and sights than we could have dreamed of and the kindness he showed towards our children will never be forgotten.
The minibus we traveled in was comfortable and safely driven by Nick.It also had the advantage of having a roof that fully opened up so that we could stand and observe the wildlife without the barrier of a window.This made the experience feel so much more real for us.
The two camps we stayed at were excellent.Firstly at Lake Nakuru where we stayed at the Sarova Lion Hill Lodge where our accomodation was a very comfortable lodge.The food was delicious and the service first class.At Masai Mara we stayed at Mara Sarova Camp which is situated right in the heart of the Mara.Our accommodation was a luxury tent with ensuite bathroom which was again very comfortable with plenty of space for all the family.The food here was also very good and plentiful.
Overall we had a magical time with Cruzeiro for which we say asante sana to both Claudia and to Nick.
We strongly recommend Cruzeiro to anybody looking for great service and wonderful memories.

“A group trip which had everything!”
Reviewed April 26, 2011 We were a group of 20 Scouts going to the Maasai Mara and Mombasa in summer 2010. Besides a great experience seeing animals and the unforgettable landscape we felt really save and looked after. The details made a difference. We were at a nice camp site, had a good cooking team, not to forget our reliable and funny driver who knew all the answers to our questions - and a few more!
Arranging the trip was easy, we got what we wanted (and agreed on), including advice in advance and help during difficulties.
I can recommend Cruzeiro Safaris happily.
