Sheldrick Wildlife Trust (Elephant Orphanage), where rescued calves are raised for a return to the wild.
Watch feeding and mud-bath playtime during the daily public session, hear rescue stories from keepers, and discover how your
ticket helps protect Kenya’s elephants. Ideal for solo travelers, couples, and families who want a smooth, shared experience.

Itinerary (Typical Timing)

• 9:30 AM — Meet/Pick-Up at your hotel (on the shared route) or at our confirmed central meeting point.
• ~10:00 AM — Arrive at Sheldrick Wildlife Trust (within Nairobi National Park precincts).
• 11:00–12:00 PM — Public viewing session: bottle-feeding demonstration, mud-bath play, and each orphan’s story from the keepers.
• 12:05 PM — Depart the nursery.
• ~12:30 PM — Shared drop-off at original pick-up hotels/meeting point.

Note: Timings can shift slightly due to traffic and entry procedures.

• Animal welfare first: Touching/bottle-feeding is not permitted; interactions are at keepers’ discretion.
• Foster session: The 5:00 PM foster-parent visit is separate and not included unless requested and eligible.
• Accessibility: Not wheelchair accessible; pathways can be uneven.
• Bring: Comfortable shoes, sunhat, water, camera; Nairobi weather can change—light layers recommended.
