13-Day Kenya Adventure Joining Safari | 18–30 January 2027
Confirmed departure — seats available to join. Explore Kenya with Cruzeiro Safaris on a shared safari from Nairobi through Ol Pejeta, Samburu, Lake Nakuru, the Masai Mara, Lake Naivasha and Amboseli. This departure runs on 18–30 January 2027 only and is booked per person on a seat-in-vehicle basis.
Travel in a shared 4×4 safari Land Cruiser with a pop-up roof. The vehicle takes up to six guests, with a window seat for each traveller. Choose an onward transfer to Nairobi or towards the Kenya coast at the end of the safari.
Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: 18 January — Arrival in Nairobi
Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. A Cruzeiro Safaris representative will meet you and transfer you to Acacia Tree Lodge to settle in and rest.
Overnight: Acacia Tree Lodge. Meals: Bed and breakfast.
Day 2: 19 January — Nairobi at leisure
Enjoy a relaxed day at the hotel before the wildlife journey begins. Optional evening shopping can be arranged at your own expense.
Overnight: Acacia Tree Lodge. Meals: Full board as stated in the confirmed itinerary.
Day 3: 20 January — Nairobi National Park and city attractions
Set out early for a game drive in Nairobi National Park. Continue to the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust elephant orphanage and Nairobi Safari Walk. After a lunch stop, visit the Giraffe Centre and Karen Blixen Museum before returning to your hotel. Lunch at the restaurant is at your own expense.
Overnight: Acacia Tree Lodge. Meals: Half board.
Day 4: 21 January — Ol Pejeta Conservancy
Drive north to Ol Pejeta Conservancy and arrive in time for lunch. Spend the afternoon on a game drive in this conservation landscape, home to rhinos and the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary. Look out for Mount Kenya when the skies are clear.
Overnight: Sweetwaters Serena Camp. Meals: Full board.
Day 5: 22 January — Journey to Samburu
Travel to Samburu National Reserve, arriving for lunch. Your afternoon game drive introduces you to the reserve before dinner at camp.
Overnight: Ashnil Samburu Camp. Meals: Full board.
Day 6: 23 January — Game drives in Samburu
Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives, with time to return to camp for meals and a rest between outings.

Day 7: 24 January — Lake Nakuru National Park
Continue to Lake Nakuru National Park. After lunch, explore on an afternoon game drive, looking for rhinos, other wildlife and the birds around the lake.
Overnight: Lake Nakuru Lodge. Meals: Full board.
Day 8: 25 January — On to the Masai Mara
Begin with an early game drive, then travel towards the Masai Mara with a packed lunch. Continue through the reserve towards camp.
Overnight: Ashnil Mara Camp. Meals: Full board.
Day 9: 26 January — Full-day Masai Mara safari
Spend a full day exploring the Masai Mara in search of wildlife. Enjoy a picnic lunch in a designated area of the reserve before returning to camp in the evening. Wildlife sightings are subject to nature.
Overnight: Ashnil Mara Camp. Meals: Full board.
Day 10: 27 January — Lake Naivasha and Crescent Island
Travel to Lake Naivasha. In the afternoon, take a boat excursion to look for hippos and birdlife, followed by a guided walking visit to Crescent Island.
Overnight: Blooming Suites. Meals: Full board.
Day 11: 28 January — Journey to Amboseli
Head south towards Amboseli with a packed lunch en route. Arrive at Kilima Safari Camp in the late afternoon and enjoy time at leisure. Ask us about the optional Maasai village visit if you would like to add it.
Overnight: Kilima Safari Camp. Meals: Full board.
Day 12: 29 January — Full-day Amboseli safari
Explore Amboseli National Park on a full-day game drive with a packed lunch. Watch for the park’s elephant herds and, when the weather allows, views of Mount Kilimanjaro.
Overnight: Kilima Safari Camp. Meals: Full board.
Day 13: 30 January — Your choice of onward journey
After breakfast, take the ending confirmed in your booking: transfer to Nairobi for a hotel or airport drop-off, or transfer to Emali Station for the train to Mombasa and onward transfer towards your Diani Beach hotel. Accommodation after the safari is not included.
