Nairobi Wildlife, Culture & Heritage Day Tour
Elephant Orphanage, Giraffe Centre, Karen Blixen Museum & Nairobi Shopping Tour
This Nairobi wildlife and cultural day tour combines
several distinctive experiences in one organised itinerary:
an elephant conservation visit, the Giraffe Centre,
the historic Karen Blixen Museum, and time to explore
locally made Kenyan crafts and souvenirs.
The tour is designed for international visitors who want to experience
wildlife conservation, Kenyan heritage and local shopping
during the same day without arranging separate transport between
Nairobi's different attractions.

The elephant conservation experience introduces visitors to the
rescue, care and rehabilitation of orphaned elephants in Kenya.
Guests can learn about the elephants, their individual stories and
the conservation work involved in preparing them for their future
in the wild.
Do You Need to Book the Elephant Visit in Advance?
Advance booking is strongly recommended because

at close range while learning about giraffe conservation in Kenya.
The centre is especially associated with the conservation of the
endangered Rothschild's giraffe.
Why Visit the Karen Blixen Museum?

contrast to the wildlife experiences. The museum is associated with

part of Nairobi's colonial-era heritage.

The itinerary can include time to browse
Kenyan handicrafts, souvenirs and locally made items.
Any purchases are optional and paid for separately unless otherwise

We had an amazing, action-packed day with Julius, who rearranged the schedule on the spot to based on our early arrival, traffic, and minimizing crowds. Julius was so knowledgeable and enthusiastic about all of our sights, on top of having a very clean, comfortable van. Cruziero Safaris was super responsive and easy to work with, even with our last minute request when other plans in Nairobi fell through – special thanks to Claudia in marketing who helped us figure out the best tour options for our specific layover timing. – Clara

“An excellent tour with a great guide”
Margaret our guide was very informative and engaging. The property is in very good order. A lovely venue for weddings too!
Poor Ms Blixen was badly advised – probably by stupid men!
