What You’ll Do
Start your day with hotel pickup and enjoy a short drive to Shimba Hills. Once inside the reserve, go on a guided game drive through the lush coastal forest.
- See African elephants
- Look for rare sable antelope
- Spot giraffes, buffalo, and warthogs
- Enjoy birdwatching in a rich natural habitat
Next, take a guided walk through the forest to Sheldrick Falls. The walk takes about 45 minutes and leads to a beautiful waterfall where you can relax and enjoy nature.
After the hike, enjoy lunch at Shimba Rainforest Lodge, a special tree lodge overlooking a waterhole where animals often gather.
Finish your day with a short afternoon game drive before returning to your hotel.
