Full-Day Itinerary
6:00 AM – Pick-Up
- Meet your driver-guide at your hotel/residence or JKIA arrivals.
6:30 AM – Game Drive in Nairobi National Park
- Guided game drive in the world’s only national park bordering a capital city.
- Look for lions, rhinos, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, leopards and 400+ bird species.
- Iconic photo stops with the city skyline. Exit the park by 10:30 AM.
11:00 AM – David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage
- Public viewing session (11:00–12:00 only): watch feeding and playful mud baths.
- Hear rescue stories and learn how calves are rehabilitated back to the wild.
12:30 PM – Giraffe Center
- Hand-feed endangered Rothschild’s giraffes from the raised platform.
- Stroll the Gogo River nature trail (time permitting) and visit the education center.
1:30–2:00 PM – Drop-Off
- Return transfer to your hotel/residence or the airport. Timing may vary with traffic.

“Amazing to see so many species in such a short time”
After several safaris in other parts of Africa I was amazed to see so much in such a short time and so strange to have the background of Nairobi buildings and traffic with giraffes and buffalo in the foreground. The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust Elephant Orphanage was well worth a visit too.
