6:00 AM – Pick-Up from Hotel, Residence, or Airport
Start your adventure with an early morning pick-up from your Nairobi hotel, residence, or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
6:30 AM – Nairobi National Park Game Drive
Enjoy an exciting game drive in Nairobi National Park, Kenya’s only wildlife park located within a city.
Spot lions, buffaloes, rhinos, giraffes, zebras, and more in their natural habitat.
The park is home to over 100 mammal species and 400 bird species.
Exit the park at 10:30 AM to head to the next destination.
11:00 AM – Elephant Orphanage Visit
Arrive at the David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage, where you’ll witness rescued baby elephants being fed and playing in the mud.
Learn about elephant conservation and how the orphans are rehabilitated for reintroduction into the wild.
Stay until 12:00 PM, then proceed to the next stop.
12:30 PM – Giraffe Center Tour
Get up close and personal with endangered Rothschild’s giraffes at the Giraffe Center.
Hand-feed the giraffes and take amazing photos with them.
Walk along a nature trail to learn more about Kenya’s giraffes and conservation efforts.
After an incredible day, drop-off at your hotel or residence (exact time depends on traffic and location).

“Amazing to see so many species in such a short time”
After several safaris in other parts of Africa I was amazed to see so much in such a short time and so strange to have the background of Nairobi buildings and traffic with giraffes and buffalo in the foreground. The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust Elephant Orphanage was well worth a visit too.
