Detailed Itinerary

5:00 AM – Hotel Pick-up in Nairobi

Your adventure begins with an early morning pick-up from your Nairobi hotel by a representative of Cruzeiro Safaris Kenya. You will be transferred to Wilson Airport in time for your scheduled flight to the Maasai Mara.

Please be ready at your hotel reception at least 10 minutes before the scheduled pick-up time.

7:30 AM – Scheduled Flight to Maasai Mara

Board your scheduled safari flight departing Nairobi at approximately 7:30 AM.

The flight takes about one hour, with an expected arrival in the Maasai Mara at approximately 8:30 AM.

Please note that safari flights may make brief scheduled stops at other airstrips within the Maasai Mara or nearby conservancies before reaching your designated airstrip.

8:30 AM – Arrival in Maasai Mara

Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by your experienced Cruzeiro Safaris Kenya safari driver-guide.

Without delay, you will begin your exciting game drive through the magnificent Maasai Mara National Reserve.

8:45 AM – 3:00 PM – Game Drive & Picnic Lunch

Spend the next several hours exploring one of Africa's greatest wildlife reserves.

Your safari driver-guide will carry your picnic lunch and bottled drinking water. The exact game-viewing duration will depend on the confirmed flight schedule, routing and operational conditions.

Alternative Flight Schedule

If the 7:30 AM departure is unavailable, guests will be booked on the next available scheduled flight, currently planned to depart Nairobi at approximately 9:30 AM and arrive in the Maasai Mara at approximately 10:30 AM.

For the later flight, hotel pick-up in Nairobi will normally be at approximately 5:00 AM.

Important: Only one flight schedule will operate for each booking date. Guests will not use both flight timings on the same day. The final hotel pick-up time, flight departure time and arrival time will be confirmed by Cruzeiro Safaris Kenya after the airline schedule is finalized.

5:00 PM – Arrival in Nairobi

Arrive back at Wilson Airport at approximately 5:00 PM, where you will be met by a Cruzeiro Safaris Kenya representative and transferred to your Nairobi hotel or another agreed location within the city.
