Day 1: Nairobi to Amboseli National Park

Your adventure begins with a 7:30 AM pickup from your Nairobi hotel or airport, followed by a scenic 3-hour drive to Amboseli National Park. Enjoy a short game drive en route to your lodge, arriving in time for check-in and lunch.

At 4:00 PM, embark on an afternoon game drive, where you'll spot large elephant herds, lions, giraffes, and more against the stunning backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay at Amboseli Sopa Safari Lodge.

Day 2: Morning Game Drive & Return to Nairobi

Start your day with breakfast at the lodge, then head out for an early morning game drive in Amboseli National Park. This is the best time to spot lions, cheetahs, hyenas, elephants, and more, as wildlife is most active in the cool morning hours. Keep an eye out for Amboseli’s diverse birdlife as well.

After the game drive, depart for Nairobi, arriving in the afternoon for drop-off at your hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.

Park entry tickets are valid for 24 hours only—staying beyond may require an additional fee.
Follow park rules: stay in your vehicle, stick to designated tracks, and give wildlife the right of way.
Road conditions vary—dusty in dry seasons and challenging in wet seasons.
