Nairobi National Park Tour, Elephants Orphanage and Giraffe Center - Daily Day Trip
Pick Up time form Hotels, residence of Jomo Kenyatta International Airport is at 6am Daily
This tour start early morning. Visit the Nairobi National Park and embark on a long game viewing drive around the park. It was established in 1946, 114 kms (44 sq miles) of pristine savanna with a large stock of migratory game and lies between the Nairobi-Mombasa railway and the garden suburb of Langata. It is open on its south-east perimeter and here the Kitengela Conservation Area allows a corridor for the natural migration of the game which takes place with the seasonal rains.
Please note you will exit the Nairobi National Park at 10:30am to be able to make for the opening time at the Elephant Orphanage at 11:00am. You are taken to the elephant orphanage for a walk through the nursery. Explore the trails the infants take, see a mud bath in action, and walk around the stables that orphaned African elephants sleep in at night for warmth and protection, accompanied by their elephant keepers.?You will stay till 12pm and then driven to the Giraffe center.
Engage with giraffes at close range at Nairobi's Giraffe Centre, You may walk along a nature path to the Gogo River to learn more about Kenya's giraffes, and take a guided tour during feeding time. Later, you will be dropped at your hotel at around 3.00pm depending on hotel location and traffic flow.

“Amazing to see so many species in such a short time”
After several safaris in other parts of Africa I was amazed to see so much in such a short time and so strange to have the background of Nairobi buildings and traffic with giraffes and buffalo in the foreground. The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust Elephant Orphanage was well worth a visit too.
